This Is How Marvel Comics Ties Generations In With Secret Empire, Moving From One Event Into The Next
When promoting a comic book close to the Final Order Cut-Off date, comic book publishers often create new variant covers to encourage retailers to bump up their orders to get a few. It often works.
For Secret Empire #10 by Nick Spencer and Steve McNiven, Marvel have announced that comic book retailers can order an Alex Ross "Generations Variant" cover for the issue in question.
Does this indicate that, somehow, the extra final issue of Secret Empire will somehow tie into the upcoming Generations series that sees different versions of Marvel characters encountering each other in a team-up?
Or is it just a cheap way to advertise the series?
What is…. The Vanishing Point? No how will it tie different Generations together? And what has it to do with Secret Empire? No will people start burning copies of Generations as a result?
