In some kind of coma, placed there by his own technology after a calamitous battle over the skies of Washington DC as Iron Man with Captain Marvel. He sent Riri Williams an electronic version of himself to work as an AI for her own Iron Heart armour. But in recent issues of Secret Empire, we have seen that AI be Iron Man in and of its own right, taking over a suit of armour, appearing as a hologram within it.
