Jonathan Ross, Correcting the BBC Over Stan Lee on Newsnight Last Night

British chatshow host, comedian, presenter and producer Jonathan Ross appeared on BBC's Newsnight last night, to talk about the legacy of Stan Lee, after his death was announced yesterday.

Ross also took the opportunity to correct the BBC regarding exactly what Stan Lee did or didn't create, who he created the Marvel comic books with, the difference between what Stan Lee wanted and what he achieved but also the legacy of his work in pop culture today.

He also appeared with a spider-webbed shirt, plenty of original artwork on the walls, and holding one of his copies of Fantastic Four #1. Jonathan is believed to own two copies, one for every day and one for best.

Ross famously interviewed Stan Lee in his In Search Of Steve Ditko documentary which is also available online. And is always worth a watch, especially poignant now that both Steve and Stan are no longer with us.

Jonathan Ross is one of the most famous presenters in the UK, with some US presence thanks to early seasons of Fool You, and he is known to the comics community for his legendary Eisner Awards hosting moments.

Newsnight is BBC 2's major evening news and current affairs magazine programme that has been running for decades and is usually more politically focussed. That they gave over so much time to Stan Lee is a testament to the impact of the man.
