The Return of Rachel Summers in June's X-Force #9

In last week's issue of X-Force, we finally learned Kid Cable's true motivation for attempting to infiltrate the military headquarters of the country of Transia. Cable wanted to get his hands on Ahab, who was being held prisoner there, in order to track down the location of his alternate-timeline sister, Rachel Summers. It took Ahab getting his head blown off to finally gain the intel, but we now know that Rachel was brought through a time portal to the future, a future inhabited by Cable's clone (or is Cable the clone?), Stryfe! Or is it Kid Stryfe?

In any case, it looks like we won't have to wait long to see what Rachel's been up to, as the solicitation for June's X-Force #9 advertises her return. She's also featured prominently on the cover, and, well, it doesn't look like she's doing so well.

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
