'Birds of Prey': Check Out a Bunch of New Images!
Birds of Prey comes out in two weeks, and some new images from the film have hit the internets. Lots of easter eggs here for comic fans, including Harley in her roller derby gear from The New 52 run. I personally am having a hard time figuring out how this film is going to go over with fans and the general audience. After talking with some people over the weekend, there is excitement over Birds of Prey, but some that don't read comics or sites like BC have no clue this is coming out, let alone in two weeks. It looks like a ton of fun though, so here's hoping that it does well.
Check out the images below.
Directed by Cathy Yan and written by Christina Hodson. Birds of Prey stars Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, Ella Jay Basco, Ali Wong, and Ewan McGregor, and follows Harley Quinn as she joins forces with Black Canary, Helena Bertinelli, and Renee Montoya to save Cassandra Cain from Gotham City crime lord Black Mask.
Birds of Prey is the first R-rated DCEU film and is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 7, 2020, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
