As well as a place that celebrates stories, San Diego Comic Con is also a place where stories grow.

Comics, movies, and TV shows are pitched from person to person, condensed in such a comparatively small area (though tell that to your feet on Sunday). Once, in the line at Ralph's convenience store, I found myself next to Dark Horse Comics publisher, Mike Richardson. We got chatting; he asked if I had anything he could run of mine in Dark Horse Presents. Turns out I did. One handshake later the deal was done. And the second "Many Murders Of Miss Cranbourne" story is running later this year!
