Carla Speed McNeil And Sarah Ryan Create New DC Vertigo Book, Bad Houses

ryanSara Ryan is a librarian and young adult novelist, with award-winning young adult titles such as Empress Of The World and The Rules For Hearts. She is also married to comic artist Steve Lieber, who she has worked with before on Hellboy and Me And Edith Head.

Carla Speed McNeil is best known for her self-published comics, Finder, possibly one of my favourite comic series of all time with a lightness of touch that's somewhere between Frank Quitely and Paul Pope.

And Bad Houses is their new collaboration at DC Vertigo,

The lead character of the graphic novel is one Anne Cole, who has already appeared in this short story by Ryan.
