Green Lantern Guy Gardner Joins the DC Comics Super Powers Line
Expand your classic DC Comics Super Powers collection as McFarlane Toys unveils some brand new figures for the retro line
McFarlane Toys is back with another Green Lantern action figure as they continue to expand their DC Comics Super Powers collection. Since the resurrection of this classic toy line, McFarlane Toys has been covering a lot of ground, including the Green Lantern Corps. So far, McFarlane Toys has given collectors Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Kilowog, and now Guy Gardner. Guy debuted in Green Lantern #59 (1968) and was initially introduced as a backup Lanter. However, his character evolved significantly over the years and he was chosen as a possible replacement for Hal Jordan if needed. However, due to a coma, John Stewart took up the mantle before him, and after he woke up, he became more abrasive and headstrong.
Guy Gardner is now the newest retro figure to join the McFarlane Tosy DC Comics Super Powers line. Featuring 5 points of articulation, this classic figure pays tribute to the era of DC Comics figures by Kenner from the 80s. This release is perfect to have fans build up their own Green Lantern Corps or even build Guy's Justice League International team. Featuring his classic comic book outfit, this Green Lantern is ready for action and is priced at $9.99 with an August 2024 release. Pre-orders are already live online on sites like Amazon and are selling out fast.
