Hey Fandom! It's me, Aaron, talking Ales Kot's Zero, DC Villains, and Infinity!
First, Zero by Ales Kot was insane! A perfect comic from cover/inside cover to back inside cover/back cover. Every issue is a single story mission with a different artist, all building a cumulative story. I haven't been as impress with an issue and concept in a while. This relative newcomer has innovated the form and he looks good in skinny ties. I'm offering my money back guarantee on this issue.
I then go into each DC Villains month issue, which are great single stories, which lead into other books, and which just kind of feel like a file story on a cancelled title. Lex is my pick of the week, but Arcane, Black Hand, and Penguin were great too.
New Avengers #10 and Infinity #3 gave us a one two Hickman punch. This Thanos crossover is a thinking man's Infinity Gauntlet! Oh, and Spidey 2099 is taking over Superior Spider-man jammit! After that I tell you why Brian Wood's Star Wars is the best ever. Then Harbinger Wars, an original Unwritten hardcover, and Five Ghosts close out another great week for comic fans!
