A New Comic Book Series Of One Shots From Fight Club's Chuck Palahniuk – And Joelle Jones?

We already reported on Chuck Palahniuk, talking about Fight Club 3 to ex-Bleeding Cooler Chris Thompson's Orbital In Conversation Podcast below.

But he also talked about another original comic book series that he's is working on, worthy of its own post.

I've already got a really strong idea for a series of single issues that would come out probably sporadically next year and each one would be very deeply upsetting and controversial and I hope ultimately enjoyable but those would be eventually wrapped into a single volume.

They're all going to be thematically linked, so they won't be entirely different, there's going to be will be a common quality to every single one of these one shots

It will allow me to work with a different artist and colourist for each of the singles so I can really choose the artist who'd be the most appropriate for this one outlandish story…. Each one is a kind of experiment.

As for who they might be…

I would really like to work with Joelle Jones, she lives here in Portland as well, she's just done one of a Mockingbird that Chelsea Cain wrote. Joelle would probably be my first choice of the the first of these single issues.

It looks like Chelsea going's to be picking up and doing a series, I think it;s all Mockingbird and I think  Joelle may be doing the whole thing, but I don't want to steal anyone else's thunder

Well, we won't put that in the headline. Let people discover it who read beyond the headline. But this is the look of Joelle's Mockingbird
