American Idol's Chris Daughtry Draws Batman #50 Variant

American Idol singer/artist Chris Daughtry is doing a variant cover for Batman #50 and showed it off along with two color variants. Daughty who is no stranger to working on comics stepped in on a cover that was originally supposed to be done by Jim Lee. Daughtry drew the cover with Lee's guidance and then Lee's inks. Daughtry said in his post that this is one of the top 5 thing's he's done in his life.

Of all the accomplishments I'm most proud of, this EASILY sits in the top 5! I've dreamed of this moment since I was 5 years old. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine doing NOT ONLY a cover for Batman BUT WITH MY HERO!!??? The guy who made me wanna draw comics!
