BC FCBD Roundup: 'Under the Moon' Brings Selina Kyle to Young Adult Fiction

One of the cooler things that can happen during Free Comic Book Day is when your eyes are opened up to a project you didn't know about. Sometimes a company might release a snippet of something cool, and there it is, ready for you to take home and enjoy.

But what if you missed out on Free Comic Book Day? We'll try our best to help you piece together the missing pieces.

Under the Moon was an excerpt from the upcoming young-adult graphic novel from Lauren Myracle, with illustrations from Isaac Goodhart. The story follows young Selina Kyle as she becomes homeless, and follows her trajectory as she tries to survive on the streets of Gotham City.

Luckily, Under the Moon shouldn't be tough to find if you missed this offering. The full graphic novel will be released soon, and DC was even kind enough to post a digital version of the same content that was available during FCBD.

It's not a happy story, though, so don't let the YA label fool you into thinking it's all rainbows and kittens.
