Who had to say…

Strong Week for sales. Deadly Class was almost an instant sell out and Batman and Walking Dead stayed strong contenders for the top spot.

Key issues and first appearances of X-Men are on the move due to the up coming movie and with the news of the Guardians of the Galaxy spot for the Super Bowl people are scrambling for all they get before it is too late. Fun times on the speculator roller coaster. Should be a fun year.

A great week in books! Ton's of stuff from Marvel. All-New X-men is one of our top selling books and it sold more than usual this week with the beginning of the Trial of Jean Grey. Expecting the same thing to happen with Guardians of the Galaxy next week. Deadly Class #1 sold excellent, another Image hit from Remender, and customers are already talking about his next Image book, LOW. Batman was the Alpha Dog, with Walking Dead right on it's Heels. Fun seeing these two books going head to head. While All-New Invaders made the top 10, it didn't do nearly as well as we had expected. Marvel should have promoted it as being in the current Marvel U. I had a lot of customers pass on it because they thought it was just "another world war 2 story", but I tried to let them all know that wasn't the case.

More and more people jumping on Lemire's Green Arrow. I have to say, the book is great but I feel like the main drive behind it is how much people are loving the Arrow tv show. Every single person jumping on new to that book was sure to tell me how much they love the show.

Marvel, with their unrealistic sales targets for deeper discounts and variant covers, couldn't persuade us to increase our orders, as we have so many unsold #1's from Marvel Now of last year. If we had increased our numbers, they still would not have sold as well as the two big DC titles (Justice League and Batman) which dominated sales this week.

It was nice to see a strong showing from Invaders #1. James Robinson and Steve Pugh seem to be having lots of fun with the Original Human Torch here and people picked up on it.

Superior Spider-Man #25 made a return from last week, with lots of people picking up the previous issues as well.
