Bleeding Cool Bestseller List – DC Comics Dominates Top Ten For A Change

avengersIt's the weekly chart that measures Wednesday and Thursday sales each week, to measure the purchases of those who just can't wait until the weekend to get their comics.

It was a weak week this week, many comic retailers concluded. But it did give DC, who had a slightly stronger lineup a chance to push more books into the top ten. Though that top spot was all about Avengers.

And while some stores pushed Satellite Sam and Ten Grand high into their individual top tens, overall they were pushed out…

  1. Avengers #15
  2. Detective Comics #22
  3. Green Lantern #22
  4. Batman Incorporated #12
  5. Avengers AI #1
  6. Action Comics #22
  7. Superior Foes Of Spider-Man #1
  8. Earth 2 #
  9. Deadpool Kills Deadpool #1
  10. Iron Man #12

"Trinity of Sin Pandora #1 would have been higher, but I underestimated its demand and sold out Wednesday afternoon."

"Shocked that GFT Oz #1 sold out, bestselling Zenescope title to date. Increased my initial order on Detective couple extra issues still sold out. Sales little strange due to the 4th. Will have to see how the rest of the weekend does."

"Not top sellers, but we sold out of the following: Grimm's Fairy Tales:Oz #1, Bionic Woman #10, Ten Grand #3, Guardians of the Galaxy: Tomorrow's Avengers #1, What if A v X #1, X-Men Legacy #13, Steam Engines of Oz #1, Owwl #1, Daredevil:Dark Nights #2. Pleasantly surprised."

">Although Dexter #1 (of 5) was not the top seller, the sales seem to have come from a predominately new customer base. They were existing fans of the show or novels"

"DC dwindling sales have stabilized at where they were pre new 52."

If the Guardians of the Galaxy Tomorrows Avengers wasn't $4.99, we would have sold a lot more copies.
