Brad Meltzer And Chris Eliopoulos' Ordinary People

For some, Brad Meltzer is the man behind DC Comics' Identity Crisis. When you-know-what happened to Sue Dibny. To others he's a leading novelist with a string of successful books.

Well now he's gaining an entirely new audience and is taking Chris Eliopoulos with him. A new series of children's comics in the young children's hardcover format, each telling the childhood stories of George Washington, Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart and more.

And it looks like there are more to come as well.

chris Meltzer told the Miami Herald,

"The key is finding that moment as a child where you see the hint of who they will be as an adult. When you unlock that moment, that's incredible. Abraham Lincoln standing up to bullies as a 10-year-old, that's as powerful to me as any bully story I'll ever read. When you're 10 it's hard to do the right thing."

Though he did seem to get his beard in a little early…
