The incredible amount of negative publicity for Captain America: Steve Rogers #1 that saw the comic, the creative team and the publisher slammed for anti-Semitism by revealing that Steve Rogers has always been a Hydra operative has had one major effect. comic book retailers have upped their orders for the book, more additional orders than the much hyped Civil War II #3, more than all the DC Rebirth titles, more than anything.
People want to see what happens next.
