Cosplayers And Lines! Free Comic Book Day 2017

If you've been following my FCBD exploits, you'll know I went to check out the 110+ person line at Third Eye Comics in Annapolis, MD the night before. You'll also know my Barzinga co-host, Rich Henn, and I went to a few different places, and overall had a great time! And just as I promised in one of the videos, here are pics from the day!

As I said we went to Third Eye Comics'  Annapolis branch (but there's also a branch in Lexington Park) and it had possibly one of the largest turnouts in the state, with thousands of people coming in and out all day.

Our next stop was Cosmic Comix in Catonsville, MD. They had three separate areas for fans to get comics, and throughout the day they even had food and such as well! Shame we missed out! But we did get some free stuff, and we did buy a number of comics as well. We also had to admire the fantastic comic themed murals (and the overall design of them) all over the ceiling tiles inside the shop!

After everyone left for the day, I myself stopped by Universal Comics in Arbutus, MD. By far and large this shop had the best sale, with buy one, get one free on comics, and numerous other sales. The atmosphere was also very laid back, and I even got to hang out and talk to creators Nikki Ryan (Rescue Me) and Justin Jordan (The Strange Talent of Luther Strode, Green Lantern: New Guardians, and Shadowman). Nikki and Justin are producing the "Ocean Punk" comic The Family Trade with artist Morgan Beem (Here//After, Shutter, and Goners) at Image, due out later this year.

All in all it was a great FCBD, can't wait for next year!
