DC Comics Delays Their 'New Age Of DC Heroes' Titles Across The Board, Until 2018

DC Comics has told retailers that all solicited issues of Damage, The Silencer, Sideways, The Terrifics, and The Immortal Men are going to be delayed. Dan DiDio says this will be so retailers can see advance copies of the finished comics before making their orders, and the new dates will also align with the release of issues of the Metal series that the books will spin out of. They are also giving discounts on orders if they match or exceed orders for Hawkman Found #1 for each launch issue — which will probably make it a no-brainer to do exactly that for each.

So Damage #1 by Robert Venditti and Tony S Daniel, originally solicited for December 20th, will now be published on January 17th, 2018.

The Silencer #1 by Dan Abnett and John Romita, originally solicited for January 10th, will now be published on January 31st, 2018 alongside Dark Nights: Metal #5.

Sideways #1 by Dan DiDio, Justin Jordan and Kenneth Rocafort, originally solicited for January 10th will now be resolicited in the next Previews and published on February 14th, 2018 alongside Dark Nights Rising: The Wild Hunt #5.

Damage #2,  originally solicited for January 24th will now be resolicited in the next Previews and published on February 21st, 2018

The Silencer #2, originally solicited for January 17th will now be resolicited in the next Previews and published on February 28th, 2018 alongside Doomsday Clock #3.

The Terrifics #1 by Jeff Lemire and Ivan Reis, originally solicited for February 7th will now be resolicited in the next Previews and published on February 28th, 2018 alongside Doomsday Clock #3.

The Immortal Men #1, by James Tynion and Jim Lee, originally solicited for December 6th will now be resolicited in next month's Previews and published on March 14th, 2018 alongside Dark Days: Metal #6.

The Immortal Men #2 originally solicited for January 3rd will now be resolicited in the Previews the month after that and published on April 11th, 2018.

So, yes, the Jim Lee title has been delayed longer than all the rest… and is six months later than orginally announced…

And no sign yet of the New Challengers…
