DC's Deathstroke Canceled in December With Deathstroke #50

DC Comics has canceled Deathstroke, according to their full December solicitations. Deathstroke #50 will be the final issue of the series, which is a nice big number (for modern times) and to be honest not bad at all for a book whose main character died several issues ago. The ending frees up writer Christopher Priest, who's run on the title was expected to end with this issue anyway, for another title. Maybe he can take over Batman, as Tom King's run on the title ends in December as well?

Just a suggestion, not based on any inside info or anything like that. But now you know you want it. Priest was previously rumored to take over the Batman Group Editor role back in 2017, though that didn't pan out.

Check out the solicitation for Deathstroke #50 below, in which it's Slade Wilson vs. Slade Wilson in a final issue battle. Deathstroke #50 hits stores on December 4th.
