Dynamite To Print Over 140,000 Copies Of Grumpy Cat Vol 2
Dynamite Entertainment is kicking off their pre-SDCC announcements with word of a second Grumpy Cat trade. The first trade, Grumpy Cat Vol 1: Misadventures has sold over 100,000 copies. Now, Grumpy Cat Vol 2: Grumpy Cat & Pokey is getting a 140,000 print run and will be in shops July 13th and in bookstores July 26th.
Grumpy Cat Vol. 2: Grumpy Cat & Pokey features over a dozen short stories written by Ben McCool (Captain America and the Korvac Saga), Royal McGraw (Detective Comics), Ben Fisher (of the upcoming The Great Divide), and Elliott R. Serrano (Army of Darkness), and featuring art from Ken Haeser (The Living Corpse), Steve Uy (Avengers: The Initiative), and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic artists Agnes Garbowska and Michelle Nguyen.
Grumpy Cat's global following includes 8.7 million Facebook fans and over 40 million YouTube views. Since her photos first went viral in 2012, Grumpy Cat has gone from Internet star to real-life celebrity.
