Erik Larsen Off Spawn With #266 – And No More (UPDATE)
Erik Larsen has been co-creating issues of Spawn recently with Todd McFarlane, sharing writing and art duties.
But no more. Erik Larsen posts to Facebook,
Okay–finished my script for Spawn #266. Hope at least some of that sees print.
I am officially done with Spawn.
Now, onward to Savage Dragon #217 and the epic conclusion to this cataclysmic crossover.
The Savage Dragon/Spawn crossover kicked off the other week, reviving nineties creation Ant that Erik Larsen bought in, well, these circumstances. He clarifies the issues in question…
It's started already. The first two parts feature Ant. Spawn 265 is out already–next up is Savage Dragon 216 which continues into Spawn 266 and wraps up in Savage Dragon 217.

And
Believe it or not–I was writing the book–but Todd rewrote it so heavily that you couldn't tell. There were all sorts of plans which will never see the light of day. That's how that works.
He shared a few pages, saying
Curious to see what this looks like after Todd's finished with it.
