George Jeanty Launches His First Superhero Sketchbook
Georges Jeanty has launched a Kickstarter for a sketchbook that he's putting together, which covers his superhero work of the past couple of decades. He's only really ever published Buffy and Serenity sketchbooks, so this is something new.
As well as the aforementioned Whedon work, he's drawn The American Way and can currently be seen on Age Of X-Man: The X-Tremists, part of Marvel's X-Man event.
He is also a regular face at big comic conventions, where he creates original sketches for attendees. A number of which, specifically the superhero ones, he has collected into a new sketchbook.
In recent years, Georges has printed a few such specialty sketchbooks to sell at cons, like the ones focused specifically on his work for the "Buffy" and "Serenity" franchises. But he's never really collected a variety of his work into a sketchbook that reflects his interests across the comics and sci-fi spectrum. And he's gathering orders via Kickstarter.
Other rewards include original comic book pages, original sketches inside the sketchbook, limited-edition prints, stickers and bookmarks.
Here's a look at a few:
