Green Goblin Replaced By Hobgoblin In Marvel's AXIS

It could have just been a colouring error I suppose. But since it was on the cover of Diamond Previews, I'm not sure.

This was that original cover, first seen at the Las Vegas Diamond Retailer Summit, then first picked up by Bleeding Cool.

And the second cover first seen on a subway, but first seen online on Bleeding Cool.

And now USA Today have run the full resulting cover. But notice a change?

Because as the article says, that's not Green Goblin, that's Hobgoblin.

The large ensemble cast also includes Cap, Thor, Luke Cage, Storm, Deadpool, the Inhumans' Medusa, Havok, Kid Apocalypse and Quentin Quire on the Avengers/X-Men side. Doctor Doom, Enchantress, Absorbing Man, Carnage, Hobgoblin and Sabretooth come to the fore among the antagonists.
