Hanging At Hang Dai Studios + ART

Hannah Means-Shannon, our senior New York correspondent, writes;

Hang Dai Studios is a collective of artists and writers working in several media forms, but primarily in comics. The members include Dean Haspiel (Billy Dogma), Seth Kushner (Leaping Tall Buildings), Shiraj Ganguly (working on his 3D modelling portfolio currently), Christa Cassano (Breakers contributor), Jess Ruliffson (comics media journalism), Jon Allen (Vacationland), and Gregory Benton (B+F). Today I took some time to hang out in Hang Dai and heard about quite a few upcoming projects and also looked through some process art. There's a lot going on in this hub, to say the least, and it's one of several studios in the same location in Gowanus, Brooklyn where to all appearances comics rule the world. In particular, several members are gearing up for Baltimore Comic Con and new indie releases. Here are some live shots of some of the covert work they will soon unleash upon the world.
