Heavy Metal Will Announce Threadless Cover Design Winners At San Diego Comic Con

HM_282_THREADLESS_GP_CVRAT-shirt design hub Threadless and Heavy Metal have teamed for a double challenge.

For artists around the world to create original artwork for the cover of the August 2016 issue of Heavy Metal Magazine.

The winning artist will receive $2,000, a $250 Threadless gift certificate, a 10-year subscription to Heavy Metal, and a full set of Jack Kirby Lord of Light collection prints…

HM_282_THREADLESS_RU1_CVRBTwo runners up will receive $750 cash, a $250 Threadless gift certificate, and a three-year subscription to Heavy Metal.

The challenge will be guest-judged by Heavy Metal Magazine staff members Grant Morrison (Editor-in-Chief), Kevin Eastman (Publisher), Jeff Krelitz (Co-CEO), and Brian Witten (President) based on scoring from the Threadless community.
