Hopeless, Maine and The Grand Duke – Archaia Publish Digital First
The fuss around day-and-date digital seems almost quaint by now. It's expected that most publishers will put out a digital comic alongside its print equivalent.
Well, time for a new fuss to begin.
Archaia, who have developed a reputation for publishing high end graophic novels with a pop culture appeal, are to release new material weekly through ComiXology ahead of its print publication. Such as Yehudi Mercado's PANTALONES, TX, Charles Soule's STRANGE ATTRACTORS, Saurav Mohapatra's MUMBAI CONFIDENTIAL, and Andrew Gaska's revisioning of the classic Sci-Fi series SPACE: 1999.
They have launched with Hopeless, Maine by Nimue Brown and Tom Brown, and The Grand Duke by Yann and Romain Hugault, for $2.99 each.
