How Bill Jemas Wants To Turns Your $20 Into $30, With Zombies

10pack_5-6-151-902x1024
Do you remember when Bill Jemas was President and he instituted a policy of no overprints and no second prints? Stores ordered their comics from Marvel, the hits rocketed in value as there was no other way to get them and Ultimate Spider-Man #1 rapidly became a $50 book?

That is, it appears, what he's trying to replicate with his Night Of The Living Dead comics from Double Take.

A limited print run, if not no-overprint, availability in mass market areas like Hot Topic. With ten first issues of different series sold in a ten pack.

And I understand that the plan is, by hook or by crook, to announce things that will make demand for one or two of those books rocket. A bit like Young Terrorists. Which will make the 10-for-$20 pack even more of a bargain than it currently is…

The books are currently at the printers, the print levels have been set, but retailers can call Sales & Marketing Coordinator Gabe Yocum on his cell at 718-307-8711 so they can be tweaked…
