Impressing Tom King With My Pot Plant Skills

Comic book writer Tom King took part in a conversation with 11 O'Clock Comics recently, where he discusses Heroes in CrisisBatmanSwamp Thing Winter SpecialMister Miracle, Stan Lee, Len Wein, Jack Kirby, Alex Toth, Matt Wagner, Mitch Gerads, Tony DanielHushThe Vision, Mikel Janin, Lee Weeks, Uhura, PLOP! and more,

About how it was DC Comics the publisher who chose who would star in Heroes In Crisis… and who would die.

And also describing Dan DiDio as the real Editor-In-Chief of DC Comics. No one tell Bob Harras, okay?

I will listen to the whole thing, but I had to jump in at the nineteen minutes mark to hear this, didn't I? Talking about the planning of Heroes In Crisis…

'We had a summit two months ago, I presented the whole thing so people would know so what's going on in the books and the general outline of it all.

It's always crazy these summits, they leak to Bleeding Cool, so you don't know exactly how much to say.

I mean… Rich Johnston, the fact that he can get inside a random meeting at Burbank is very impressive to me.'

As longtime Jude Terror readers know, I'm stationed in that Burbank pot plant 24/7.

It's a 2 1/2 hour interview, let me know if there are any other places I should be jumping in.
