Is This How Justice League Dark Will Tie Into Infinite Frontier?
There have been a few queries asking how DC Comics' Future State will tie into the rest of the upcoming Infinite Frontier series. Midnighter will travel back in time to the DC present day. Future State: Gotham will continue Bat-related tales in that future world. Batman will see the rise of the Magistrate after The Joker kicks off A-Day. And The Golden Beetle will appear in The Flash. But this week's Future State: Justice League Dark #2 has another way for the future to affect the past – and maybe stop this future from happening, Terminator-style. In a world in which magic has been outlawed by Merlin, and all magical creatures hunted down, it may take one of Merlin's own creations to stop that from happening. With Khalid Nassour, talking to The Demon.
That is Future State speaking to Infinite Frontier courtesy of The Demon and his demonic ways. The future will be perceived by the Demon in the present, and so things will play out in a different way. And handily, Ram V writes both this story and the Justice League Dark back-ups of Brian Bendis' The Adventures Of Shazadam Justice League to come in March.
