Details On The 'King-Size' Kirby Is Fantastic Hardcover From Marvel Comics – The First of Many
Big is beautiful. Big is better. Less is not more, by definition, less is less. more is more. It was simple when you thought about it. And someone at Marvel did. Thanks to the January solicitations, we now know what is inside that monstrous new oversized hardcover coming from Marvel in 2019, Kirby Is… Fantastic.
And it's not just a sequel to the previous oversized Kirby Behold… Galactus, but a series of two foot tall Kirby hardcovers covering the man's work at Marvel Comics – and thicker than the Galactus volume. And the first volume of this run deals with his Fantastic Four work.
And we have the name for this format as well now, The King-Size, named after Jack 'The King' Kirby. I hope Scott Dunbier is feeling jealous right now. And maybe inspired…
