It has been awhile since I last wrote Bleeding Cool (www.bleedingcool.com/2013/11/24/lark-eagle-not-hawk-dove/) and even though my little Kickstarter project "failed", I saw what backers had pledged as a sign. A sign that says to keep going and try again. Last time I rushed and did not have everything in place before I began. I had an overall plan that was doomed to fail. Afterall, this was my first Kickstarter and no one knew who I was – Steve who? Lark and Eagle, wha? I had reward levels that were crazy! Sometimes I think I am glad that it did fail.

But not this time. I am back with more talent, more art, more stuff than you can shake a cybernetic claw at! Secrets and surprises abound, like a variant cover! (I may or may have not shown other people because I was too excited.) There are fantastic rewards that are just waiting to be snapped up. Who wouldn't want a JK Woodward full color painted commission? Let me know because they are seriously out of touch and I will need to set them straight. And my video is pretty badass! Wait, can I write that?

So, the last time I had written to Bleeding Cool I included a scene from the comic as a short from Eagle's point of view. I promised the scene would be in the book. And I keep my promises. Enjoy page 6 from Lark and Eagle #1! You mean I didn't mention that the first 7 pages are complete? Silly me!
