LATE: American Vampire Anthology #2

STL010766American Vampire Anthology #2 was meant to go on sale a month ago, on July 27th.

It promised much. The first was a success but that was back in 2013 and featured Jeff Lemire, Greg Rucka, Gail Simone, Gabriel Ba, Fabio Moon, Jason Aaron, Becky Cloonan, Francesco Francavilla, Declan Shalvey, Ivo Milazzo, Ray Fawkes, Tula Lotay, John Paul Leon and more. So a second one was keenly anticipated.

Stories told in Scott Snyder and Rafael Albuquerque's American Vampire world by the likes of Kieron Gillen – his first DC Comics work – Steve Orlando, Marguerite Bennett, Elliot Kalan, Joelle Jones and Clay McLeod Chapman.

Then… nothing. The comic was resolicited for September 9th, for reals this time.

Well, that has now slipped again, and it is currently lined up for the 5th October.

Fingers crossed. It keeps away vampires for a start…
