Marvel Publishes 'Secret' Variant of Venom #15 to Indicate Additional Absolute Carnage Back Page
We looked a little at Venom #15 by Cullen Bunn, Iban Coello, Alberto Alburquerque, Roberto Poggi and Andres Mossa earlier as part of the War Report on The War Of The Realms – and how it was looking ahead to whatever Absolute Carnage had to hold.
It's also worth noting that Marvel has one of their hidden variants, with a certain ratio of covers having red splatter across them. That's not blood, that's a signifyier that the comic book has a page tease ahead of Absolute Carnage in the back.
And so this issue does, with a page by Clay McLeod Chapman, Francesco Mobili and Andres Mossa…
… I mean I think it's Absolute Carnage. Unless Marvel suddenly has the Aliens franchise, now that Disney has gone and bought Fox Studios. Look for that Carnage splatter on upcoming issues featuring this back page promo? They include Amazing Spider-Man #24, Deadpool #14, Symbiote Spider-Man #3, Fantastic Four #11, Invaders #7, Avengers #22, Black Cat #2, Captain Marvel #8, and Immortal Hulk #20.
We also mentioned that today's Silver Surfer Black #1 by Donny Cates and Tradd Moore was also part of, well, Absolute Carnage. You worked it out. Anyway, it's all going down from today…
