Marvel Gets Its Own Superman With Star, Debuting in Captain Marvel #8 – Take A Look (Spoilers)

Not everyone will be able to pick up a copy of Captain Marvel #8 today. Before going on sale, copies are being pre-sold on eBay for up to $25 a pop with up to $140 for the 1:25 variant. Insanity. It's all part of what we're calling Monster Wednesday here at Bleeding Cool.

So here, for the rest of us, is a brief glimpse at the new Star, And from the off, with the sun behind her, floating in mid-air with her cape billowing in the breeze – after flying and smashing through stuff, she does give the impression of being a Superman for the Marvel Universe. To join Gladiator, Sentry and the like.
