Metropolis has its own Hamilton-wannabe, it seems, Franklin is a hip-hop musical about a founding father who did have a father (and lived just a stone's thrown where Alan Moore lives now). That's according to Action Comics #1058, out today, that is.

That's the theatre covered, what about the Metropolis cuisine?

Last week's Hawkgirl #4 gave us… The Metropolis Dog. With… hang on, peaches? Look, I like pineapple on a pizza – my go-to is chicken-pineapple. I have apple sauce with my pork or lamb. I am not a stranger to mixed meat and fruits. But canned peaches on a hot dog? That is beyond me. So I have spent the week googling, and yes, you all totally do that. So what about the politics? Well, today's Power Girl #2 has the Blue Earth movement ready to take any chink in Kryptonian armour.

All part of their Earth first, Earth for Earthers, anti-Kryptonian influence in Metropolis. Of course, it's never that simple. And their leader, Norah Stone, looks like she is in communion with… something or someone in Action Comics #1058.

Are those Martians? Are they Amanda Waller's The Light Council? Blue Earth is not quite the grassroots organisation it has been painted as. So, how is the Metropolis dating scene? Also, from Hawkgirl…
