Improbable Previews: Green Arrow, Flash, And Wonder Woman Go Retro In Black-And-White Preview Of Green Arrow #27
Every so often, comic book publishers send out previews of upcoming comics without any of the lettering finished. The result, while pretty to look at, leaves readers wondering just what the hell is going on in those pages. Well, wonder no more.
Here at Bleeding Cool, we have combined decades of experience in reading comic books, so we can tell what's happening, even without the words. Using that knowledge, we've lettered these previews ourselves, using our best guess at what the dialogue should actually be. We can't guarantee 100% accuracy — in fact, our accuracy may be much lower than that — but we can guarantee that it's better than looking at a bunch of unfinished pages.
In the previous episode of Improbable Previews, Green Arrow suspected that The Flash was up to no good, but it turned out they were on the side and nobody was having sex with woodland creatures. In this follow-up preview of Green Arrow #27, in stores July 19th from Benjamin Percy and Jamal Campbell, Barry and Ollie go black and white to investigate a hard-boiled murder mystery, noir style. But when Ollie tries to do some killing of his own, Wonder Woman shows up to stop him. Check out what happens — or our best guess at what happens — below:
