Friend of Bleeding Cool and British comics stalwart Steve Cook has been digging through his old papers. And has found a Friends Of Ol' Marvel fanzine from the seventies, with a list of competition entries. Including everyone from Marc Silvestri to Tim Sale to S'Express's Mark Moore and, well, Steve Cook… and one current co-Publisher of DC Comics, Dan DiDio. Or Danny Didio as he is here.
It does make you consider a What If…? doesn't it? Dan DiDio came into DC Comics through Jimmy Palmiotti who was at DC at the time. If Jimmy had stayed at Marvel, could we have a very different situation today, three months into the Marvel Relaunch?
