As repeatedly predicted, DC Comics have confirmed that, yes, Brightest Day is about the return of DC icons, back from the dead. Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, Firestorm… even Deadman! And yes that last one will probably be the most interesting.

So we have the inhouse ad campaign to the Brightest Day books, and the reasons for their tie ins. Green Lantern and the Green Lantern Corps are all about the White Lanterns. Flash takes on the reborn and haunted Captain Boomerang. Max Lord is back for Justice League: Generation Lost. Birds Of Prey has now had Hawk And Dove added to the cover. And Titans has Osiris issues. And of course, it looks like Aquaman may have retained a little… something in Brightest Day #2…
