Colour E Paper Announced. Comic Books Get InterestedTaiwan company E Ink have announced they new E Ink Triton technology, described as high contrast, sunlight readable, low power colour electronic paper.

And Chinese manufacturer Hanvon are announcing they'll be first to market in March with the release of the world's first colour eBook reader, with a ten inch colour touch screen at a $440 price point, pictured.

While the likes of Kindles and Sony eReader have reportedly provided a better reading experience than iPads and Nooks, using E Ink technology, their definition and lack of colour have meant they've been playing catch up in terms of delivering a reading experience for comic books.

That looks like it may change. And Hanvon are also looking at selling their first models to the West…
