Eden: An Explosive Sci-fi Tale by Eric Henson
Backer Gaile Vanpraseuth writes:
Let me start by saying I'm not a writer I'm just a comic book geek who trawls the internet for cool stuff and cool is certainly what I've stumbled across in Eden. In the words of its creator Eric Henson (Yes the "Eric Henson" from ComicCon Ep. 4: A Fan's Hope). Eden is an explosive, sci-fi tale told in a 28 page, full-color comic. And as a backer who's unfortunately not rolling in cash, much to my chagrin, but has plenty of enthusiasm I'm writing to rally the troops and help push them towards their stretch goals.
The original goal of issue #1 was funded in just two days and five days later the first stretch goal for issue #2 of the four part mini-series was smashed. Let's help push them all the way to all four parts of the series, with only ten days to go I'm sure there are more people out there that think this is as cool as I do and if not I might have to rethink my coolness scale… who am I kidding it's definitely cool.
In case my word's not enough to give everyone a little push here's the synopsis: Set in the distant future on a unique alien world that professes to be the "perfect society", Eden is the astonishing tale of a woman mysteriously robbed of her only son and her desperate struggle to get him back. And let's not forget the awesome artwork.
So head on over to the projects Kickstarter page to add your support and pick up some great rewards. The artwork looks phenomenal already, just wait until the colour is added and who doesn't love a story set hundreds of years in the future, with aliens, a kick-ass woman on a quest for the truth and lots of intrigue. This is going to be HUGE.

Just STUNNING! It just looks gorgeous as it unfolds, unspools and I can see so much drama in the expression and the body language of each of the characters–that the story is real and very much a vital and powerful thing! This will be the first of a long library of epics that people will remember for generations to come!— Todd Dezago (Writer: Spider-Man, Tellos)
"WOW! Eric has stepped up his game to a whole 'nother level with EDEN and it keeps getting better… This is one series not to be missed!"— Craig Rousseau (Artist: Ironman and the Armor Wars, Spider-man Loves Mary Jane, Captain America and the Korvac Saga
