Free Comic Book Day 2012 In London. You Know, For Kids!

I took Eve and a couple of her classmates to London today for free comics and pizza. I was a very popular daddy today. We stopped off at Orbital, where the queue for free comics was out of the door. Having young kids saw us whizzed to the front, which was nice.

They also had cosplayers on hand to entertain the troops.

The free somics were happily received…

And Uncle Carl made sure that the right people got the right free Comics.

Then we left the long queues behind, with a brief soujourn past Forbidden Planet, where kids bags were picked up along with a few toys to boot, and then on to Gosh Comics. for the kids drawing workshop with Pirate Penguin Vs Ninja Chicken's Ray Friesen.

Uncle Roger Langridge was also on hand to show off his bald spot.

And the day went swimmingly!

A quick trip to Soho Joes on Dean Street for pizza and it was time to go home… with comics!

Same time again next year! Here was my two mnute comic of the proceedings for Eve and friends…
