Gail Simone received an Inkpot Award during her panel at San Diego Comic-Con today, and she had no idea it was coming.

Simone revealed the award, given to individuals for "contributions to the worlds of comics, science fiction/fantasy, film, television, animation, and fandom services," at the Spotlight on Gail Simone panel Thursday. She took to Twitter to announce:
