Which would you rather have: Daredevil or Galactus & the Silver Surfer? Two competing theories emerged today as to whether Fox might trade away the rights to Marvel's cosmic powerhouses to get an extended lease on life for their Daredevil plans. I think Brendon is probably correct that we're simply hearing (the public version of) two sides of the same story, but it'll make the next two months interesting nonetheless. There's some pretty good opinion on the pros and cons of each scenario in the forum, so be sure to check that out. But let me just add this: If Fox does have new plans in the works for Galactus, they better be able to back them up with more than just smoke and mirrors this time.

I think there's a difference between that, though, and people who seem to believe that someone of a different ethnicity shouldn't portray a character in cosplay. Time ticks on and Fox are continuing to pull strings, trying and get their reboot of Daredevil before the cameras this side of October 10th – their deadline to prevent rights for the character reverting to Marvel.
We know that Josh Trank has been tapped to develop and direct a new Fantastic Four film, so I can see Fox's interest in Galactus and Silver Surfer having long-term value on that front.
