Friday Trending Topics: The Mysterious Last Minute Scene In The AvengersWell, that's a relief.  With the alien mystery revealed, and the film having premiered last night, I was presuming our months of speculation over various aspects of The Avengers was at an end.  But not so fast.  A mysterious 11th hour scene has been filmed which was not in the premiere showing.  What will it be? Brendon has some ideas.  But now we have a few more days to talk about just what might be going on with the film.

They Filmed Another Scene For The Avengers Last Night – But Why? And What's In it?

Though Kevin Feige and Joss Whedon tried to downplay the chatter, it was all but too late for denials after Robert Downey Jr. opened his mouth and revealed that another scene was being shot for The Avengers last night. Later confirmed by Mark Ruffalo, Aint it Cool and a couple of friends of Bleeding Cool, the shoot appears to have been for a final-final moment to come right at the very end of the film, once all of the credits have rolled.

All the spoilery scuttlebutt about Marvel's tentpole-of-all-tentpoles seems to be centering on trivial stuff like who the villains are and what will happen in the movie.

The Office To Be "Rebooted" For Next Season?

As a box-set viewer, I've yet to see a single episode of The Office without Steve Carell, and I'm a little apprehensive about what I'll find when I do. Still, one of the beauties of TV is that long term formats can afford a lot of chances for a show to evolve, and sometimes quite dramatically.
