Speculator Corner: Higher Earth #3
There's something about issue threes. Sleeper-successful comic books often begin to turn around with issue 4. For those big surprise success stories, issue 3 is often the most underordered. We call it Issue Three syndrome. Go on and try to find a Walking Dead #3.
I understand that Boom! believes that Higher Earth #3 has been considerably under ordered. Both the first and second issues sold out and went to second print fast, breaking Boom records.
A super high concept, big sci-fi epic about an empire that spans a hundred alternate earths starring Rex, a rogue soldier and Heidi, a girl born on a garbage planet that he rescues.
You know, that kind of thing. Boom! are putting a lot of emphasis on the title.
Issue 5 will be drawn by Morning Glories' Joe Eisma. Issue 3 is out soon.
That is if you can find it, it has lower orders than Boom's record breaking sell out second issue.
