Taylor Lautner Is The Hottest Thing On Two Wheels

Cannes Film Festival kicks off tomorrow, and one of the films being presented to international buyers will be Tracers, a cycling parkour crime thriller from FilmNation Entertainment. Tracers comes from the producers of Twilight and Dear John, and will feature Taylor Lautner in the lead role.

New York City bicycle messenger, Cam (Lautner) is the hottest thing on two wheels, but is in debt to an organized crime gang.

Hottest thing on two wheels? Lautner has quite a few giants to topple in order to win that crown. This guy won't be happy about it, just for starters.

Hottest thing or two wheels or not, it sounds like Cam is in trouble with those organised crime goons. What happens to him next?

When he crashes his bike into a sexy stranger, Nikki, Cam is immediately seduced by her and the thrill of the world of parkour.

Immediately? That's a bit harsh. Presumably this doesn't mean that the poor sexy stranger is lying bleeding and bruised in the road when the jackass who hit her comes running over with a cry of, "Your otherworldly beauty intrigues me! Can I come and jump off buildings with you?"

With Lautner already onboard and a plot involving stunt-cycling, parkour and sexy strangers, this is likely to garner at least some interest while at Cannes. FilmNation are also handling international sales on Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring, and in competition at the festival they have Jeff Nichols' Mud and John Hillcoat's Lawless.
