Wally West Watches Doctor Who – Well, One of Him (Flash Annual #1 Spoilers)

In the Flash comics right now, published by DC Comics, there are two Wally Wests. One is the new Wally West who was introduced to the series during the New 52 era, as the original Wally West had been written out of continuity, and DC Comics batted away any requests for that iteration of the Flash to return. And the chance was linked to the TV version of the comic book as well.

But then when Geoff Johns took over DC Rebirth, the original Wally West returned, lost in the timestream with everyone having forgotten that he existed, wiped from existence by a) Abrakadabra or b) Dr Manhattan, depending on which comics you read.

And now we have two Wally Wests. Both speedsters, both linked to Barry Allen, the original sixties Flash and both hanging around.

And in today's Flash Annual #1. kicking off the Flash War event happening later this year, it looks like it will be more of a Time War.

Multiple versions of the same character, a time war, you know what TV show that reminds me of?
