Will Homestuck Beat The Comic Kickstarter Record?

Over three quarters of a million dollars raised so far from 7659 donors. 2 days down, 28 days to go. Could Homestuck be set to break the record for the most money raised by a comic book related project on Kickstarter?

Andrew Hussie was looking to raise $700,000 to turn their webcomic parody of RPGs for MS Paint Adventures into an actual game itself, and they got there in record time.

The total record is still a way off, set by The Order Of The Stick which raised over one-and-a-quarter-million, though Homestuck is well ahead so far at this stage. The game is only planned to be released in 2014.
