Say Hello To… Iron Phoenix?

We all know that, "through concentration, Iron Fist can harness his spiritual energy, or chi, to augment his physical and mental capabilities to peak human levels". But, from this upcoming cover for New Avengers #25 it seems like he's been channeling something else. And I'm not sure it agrees with him.
