Scott Lobdell Introduces Oracle To The New 52 In Superman #0

Beware of what you wish for. Sometimes you may get it.

Since the launch of the New 52, and a Barbara Gordon no longer confined to the wheelchair, but back in the Batsuit and running around Gotham trying to get her confidence back, many have called for the return of the Barbara Gordon they most enjoyed, as the take-no-prisoners, tech-savvy Oracle. Especially since it seems, in this new continuity, she may never have existed.

But that's the thing. Batgirl and the Birds Of Prey probably have Siri by now, and are less in need of Oracle, especially if they haven't upgraded to iOS 6 and still have Google Maps.

But, nevertheless, the fans want Oracle back, it seems. Well, in Superman #0, Scott Lobdell and Kenneth Rocafort bring back Oracle, introducing the character's veryexistence to the New 52. Just… it may not be what you are expecting from that name.
